The Personal Umbrella program provides coverage where the basic car or home insurance policy does not provide enough coverage or excludes certain losses.The Personal Umbrella program provides additional liability and property damage over and above the limits provided to you under your Automobile and Homeowners insurance policy.
The term "umbrella" is used because it covers liability claims from all policies underneath it.
